Westbury, New York – Joseph P. Grant, AIA, NCARB, DBIA, has joined Studio 88 Architecture as Partner and Managing Director. Established in 2007, Studio 88 is a full-service architecture and design firm serving commercial, public, and private clients throughout the Northeastern United States.

Joseph Grant’s design expertise, project management acumen, and portfolio of some of the most prominent projects completed in the U.S. in recent years will accelerate our firm’s growth and expand its market reach, especially in the public and institutional segments. His leadership skills will also support training and professional development of our younger design personnel.

Argiris Giorgou, AIA, NCARB, DBIA

Prior to joining Studio 88, Joseph served as Senior Vice President and Principal of the Architecture Business Unit at The LiRo Group, Associate Partner at Davis Brody Bond, and Senior Associate at Urbahn Architects.

Joseph’s portfolio includes projects totaling more than 2 million square feet and valued in excess of $ 4 Billion. Among his most prominent projects are the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum; the 17-acre Columbia University Manhattanville Campus; the $1 billion, 96-story 432 Park Avenue, the tallest residential tower in the Western Hemisphere at 1,396 feet, all in Manhattan; and the redevelopment and renovation plan for the 280-acre Rye Playland Amusement Park in Rye, New York.

Joseph’s other projects include the $400 million, multi-site Superstorm Sandy Capital Improvement Program for the New York City Housing Authority; the $383 million, 15,000-home Hurricane Sandy Affected Residential Community Recovery NYC Build It Back Program; the World Trade Center Command Facility in New York City; the master plan for the Snug Harbor Culture Center in Staten Island, New York; the Suffolk County Forensic Sciences Building in Hauppauge, New York; and the Nassau County Police 8th Precinct in Bethpage, New York.
